About the Author
Russ Barkhimer was born in Johnstown, PA and after an unremarkable adolescence - which many feel he is still experiencing - he joined the U.S. Navy. After serving his time he returned home and attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where he received a Bachelor's in Journalism. He is currently the Director of Media Relations for the local affiliate of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) and he continues to write daily.
