About the Author
Ariane T. Alexander is a seventh generation storyteller. In the olden style of an apprentice, she learned oral storytelling from a multicultural family tree. Tales of mermaids, mermen and pirates, Native American myths and legends, mysterious and magical Celtic folklore, and rich New Orleans history were received from her family. Added to this rich jambalaya of experience is extensive time spent in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
In addition to being a wordsmith, Alexander is a professional stage magician performing over two dozen characters in a Victorian Living History stage magic production. She believes life is a journey and it is the journey, not the destination, that is significant. Most important is that one must never forget to view the world as if it was the first time. For it is within this child self, that the journey ultimately begins and ends.
