Book Description
The Oracles and The Jewels, The Academy, Vol. I is a 492 page fantasy fiction in the tradition of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis that holds up virtues like faith, love, duty, courage, wisdom, the sacred, and the importance of rituals in the face evil.
This is a story about the land of Entos, which had been created in the midst of a dark and evil world called Bohow. This dark world is ruled by the evil King Ashkelon, who sits enthroned in the city of Ektos. It is from there that the evil king puts into action a plan that will corrupt Entos and divide her eight tribes. The ancient, ordinary, and humble things to which Entos owes her very existence are being replaced with new innovations and dogmas. In its weakened state, the ancient land's very existence is in doubt. Empowered by the Oracles and the Jewels and aided by conjurors, priests, and warriors, six ordinary young Entosians are transformed through study, combat, betrayal, and suffering into the means by which Entos may be saved.
