About the Author
Cynthia Ozick is the author of three collections of essays--Art and Ardor, Metaphor and Memory, and Fame and Folly--three collections of short stories, and five novels, the most recent of which is The Puttermesser Papers. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including four O. Henry first prizes, a Guggenheim fellowship, and the Rea Award for the Short Story. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
