Book Description
"Thugs and the Women Who Love Them" takes the reader through the stories of three ambitious, educated friends who aspire to escape the ghetto and follow their hopes and dreams. All three women can't resist their attraction to their thug boyfriends, which threatens to bring each of the women down.
This the first book from Wahida Clark, an inmate in a United States Federal prison. Clark brings us into a world of sex, crime and brutality...all the more real because she lived in it.
About the Author
Wahida Clark was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. She decided to start writing fiction while incarcerated at a women's federal camp in Lexington, KY. Her style is street, raw, and she has an imagination that's in overdrive. When you read her novels they are so real you are convinced of one of three things: that you are inside the book, you know the characters, or you just have to meet them. Her first novel is "Thugs And The Women Who Love Them", which made the Essence Best Sellers List. The sequel to this book is "Every Thug Needs A Lady," and coming soon, is her third novel, "Don't Knock Tha' Hustle".
