Book Description
UnderTow is a work of contemporary fiction, set in Oakland and Berkeley CA. It is the story of a man whose car is towed, and the maze of bureaucracy, boredom, BART trains, strange women, and assorted weirdos that Robert must traverse to recover his car. But, once all is said and done, can Robert hold on to his sanity?
About the Author
Alex Farr was raised in San Francisco's East Bay. He attended UC Berkeley where, in hindsight, he made the idiotic choice to drop out of the Computer Science department to study literature. He acquired his B.A. in English, which doesn't seem to qualify anyone for any job anywhere. He currently lives in Oakland, where he works as a happy-go-lucky, disgruntled cab driver... not quite always one step ahead of the traffic and parking police.
