About the Author
Patrick Fero spent his working life swimming in shark-infested bureaucratic waters. He became a black and blue master at survival without assimilation.
He served in the United States Air Force in the 1950s, where he learned that volunteering is for suckers. After gaining a college degree, and having graduated the year before the Federal Government made him eligible for veteran's college aid, he purposely, although not purposefully, reentered bureaucracy's belly. His real education followed, for 28 years, until his health and his patience finally wore out in 1993.
Since then, he has been capturing his experiences and lessons learned in two books: The Red-Tape Suicide; and The Parables of the Tail With No Teeth, made up of a series of illustrative stories about management, or lack thereof, in Medieval Land of Red Tape.
