"...there is plenty of wild farce, of loony but loveable characters and delicious digressions to entertain..."
Book Description
Jerry King tries to be as inept as possible in his role as professor, but his inability to get anything done only makes him more appealing to his higher-ups. Meanwhile, Jerry's ex-wife and three daughters disapprove of his mid-life antics, which is just fine with Jerry.
His misadventures begin when Debbie, a beautiful college friend of his daughter's shows up on his doorstep, and culminate in a dramatic climax when the family uses his home to stage a Christmas reunion.
The classic story of King Lear has never been told like this.
