Book Description
From the six-kid mom who slaps your hand when you reach for the butter, to the couple whose aim in life is to sell more dinosaur doo-doo, this is a book about laughter, and a part of what it is to be an American. The last person to see me in a bathing suit was a burglar, sneaking around the corner by my daughter's pool. We learned later he had cased the property and believed no one to be at home. That is just why I was there, hoping to take a dip while nobody could see me. He was as flabbergasted as I was, albeit, for a totally different reason. As I swung around and went screaming into the trees behind the house, losing myself completely for three hours in the adjacent acreage, a neighbor saw the robber running down the road with his hands in the air hollering, "I give up! I give up!" My wish is to bring some smiles into a sometimes bleak world. As the Bible says, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine."
