About the Author
Born and raised in the Arkansas Delta, Mann began writing at age 16 while playing witness to the civil rights movement. A graduate of Hendrix College, she spent her adult life as both a classroom and community educator, focusing on environmental issues. She currently lives and writes in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
