Book Description
April's Trust is based on the true story of April Mourning Rowen (Born April 24, 1989-Died December 31, 2001) Two estranged brothers hassle with their strained relationship when they accept the burden they inherited from their sister. Yes, there was a lot of money-but in order to get the money they must care for their late sister's beloved, spoiled rotten horse, April. However, the story depicts how resentment can become love. Love can become more important than even money when the brothers gain April's Trust. All events in this story involving April are true but rearranged to fit the story. Although this novel is a work of fiction any similarities between characters in the book and real persons are not a coincidence.
About the Author
Amy Rowen was raised in a traditional apple pie and baseball lifestyle. She was blessed to have been a mother to her late daughter, Lindsay. Rowen met April after Lindsay's passing and April taught Rowen the difference between living and just being alive. Amy and April lived in Lakefield, Ontario in the summers. Geneva, Ohio, was their home the rest of the year on a farm Rowen shares with her brother and niece (and many pets).
