About the Author
Larry Blasko, the author of Vamp!, hangs on to the day job as an executive with The Associated Press and its personal computing columnist for the last 18 years.
Blasko, 53, has also published ABCs of Computing, A Plain-English Guide. He and his wife, Helen, live in Summit, NJ, and are the parents of three now-grown children, Andrew, Kevin and Elaine.
A 1969 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, he was managing editor of the Lerner Newspapers in Chicago before joining AP, where he has served as a reporter, editor and business executive
