About the Author
Renee Prewitt Killingsworth has more than fifteen year's experience as a public relations consultant and speaker. A Chicago native, Renee began her communications career as a Sunday morning radio talk show host on WBMX and later hosted a nightly talk show on WVON. As a hobby, she monitors the changing radio landscape as acquisitions continue to redefine the importance of this media. Her speech, "The Way You Do the Things You Do" focuses on her experiences in writing Morning Drive to Midnight and helps her audience understand the competitive business of publishing. Renee is active in community affairs in southeast Michigan where she resides with her husband and two children. She is a reader in the Detroit Public Schools for the YES Foundation, an art educator with the Arts Smarts Program, and a board member of The Children's Center in Detroit. She has served as President of the Board of Directors, Arts for Greater Rochester and chaired the Rochester Annual Black Film Festival. Morning Drive to Midnight is her first novel. She's currently working on her next manuscript.
