Book Description
Almost everyone has a "hotel story" in his or her repertoire for cocktail party conversation. Sometimes funny, sometimes scary, and sometimes both, these tales of "life on the road" are almost always entertaining to the listener. Author D. Woody Walker has borrowed on his vast career in the hotel/motel business to create the fictional "autobiography" of Chance Wayne, a boy-becomes-man, four-decade story of the character's life in the hospitality industry. Filled with celebrities, danger, humor and the downright bizarre, "The Innkeeper" is a story to which anyone who has ever stayed in a strange bed in a foreign place can relate. Quick-reading and spiced with the proper amounts of intrigue and hilarity, "The Innkeeper" is the adventurous story of a man in the hotel industry - a story even Arthur Haley never told anyone.
