If This Is Insanity, Count Me in
Editorial Reviews
Book Description
A fun-filled farce with a touch of fantasy. Wendell Wellnigh, downsized cosmologist, loves three beauties; Faith, his globe-hopping fiancée whom he suspects is CIA; Hope, a marine biologist who smells and tastes better than any woman he ever met; and Chastity, his traffic-stopping teen cousin, for whom even Dudley the monkey has the hots. Wendell abandons cosmology and founds a business that adds sex and music to whale-watching. Unky, Wendell's hero and Chastity's father, writes a best-selling novel titled The Hooker You Have Reached Is No Longer in Service. And Dudley the monkey keeps everyone in stitches. Meanwhile, an enigma named Michael Maker courts Chastity, keeps getting younger, and makes all who object to him forget their objections. All's well that ends well, and this novel ends very well for all concerned.
"Some of the funniest material I've read in years." The late Herbert A. Kenny; author, former Book Editor of the Boston Globe, and co-founder of the National Book Critics Circle.
