The book is a satirical novel about a fictional academic institution. Exaggerated foibles characterizing the daily antics of the administrators, faculty and students are presented. The goals and location of the college facilitate the behavior of its inmates, reflecting the mores of the locale and the time period at which the whole mess occurs.

About the Author
Dr. Kaplan is Visiting Professor in the School of Medicine at Southern Illinois University. He is author or coauthor of 200 scientific publications, including 10 books in Physiology. Joyce Lundeen is past editor of a monthly Mensa journal in Oklahoma. She now works in advertising.
