Book Description
MAGOG is a whimsical tale of a Scottish fishing boat skipper, Dites Dunbar, and his struggle to sustain a way of life. Determined to turn his luck around, Dites joins other local skippers in an effort to outwit the fishing authorities. Events take an unexpected turn when Dites son and the local fishing inspector go missing amid rumors of drug smuggling, embezzelment and prostitution.

About the Author
Brenda Lyon was born and raised in Buckie, a small fishing town on the north east coast of Scotland. Her father was a commercial fisherman and avid boatbuilder. Brenda has written several novels, screenplays and children's stories. She presently resides with her husband and daughter in southern California.
